I use a variety of behavioristic, cognitive, psychotherapeutic and hypnotic techniques to assist clients in their healing process. I develop an individualized plan of care based upon the clients presenting symptoms and use tools which may include:

  • Breath work
    • Breathing is a wonderfully simple way to bring one's attention inward. It can keep you in the present moment. We can also use the breath to learn how to slow down heart rate and create a peaceful inner setting for managing emotions. I teach a unique method of emotional management utilizing heart awareness and breath work.

  • Self hypnosis
    • Basically ALL hypnosis is SELF hypnosis. The therapist offers suggestions, but it is the client who accepts them, uses them and allows for the transformation of perception. I often teach self hypnosis early on in our sessions.

  • Clinical Counseling
    • Medical hypnotherapuetic tools will vary depending upon the symptoms that the client presents. We can use a "control room" to adjust internal settings, use metaphorical stories to allow the subconscious to readjust physical processes to their natural and most beneficial function and teach hands-on methods to give clients the ability to adjust their own experience of symptoms.

  • Alchemical hypnotherapy
    • "Alchemical work differs from other hypnosis technologies in its synthesis of spiritual and psychological perspectives. An Alchemical Hypnotherapist simply uses hypnosis to facilitate a client's personal journey into their inner world to find the ultimate teachers, guides and therapist...the ones who live inside themselves." Alchemical hypnotherapy was developed by David Quigley in the mid 1980's. The combination of humanistic and spiritual perspectives allows us to achieve meaningful change.

  • Regression therapy
    • As we are exposed to emotionally charged events, we store this memory in the cells of our bodies as well as in our subconscious. Using regression, we may discover the CAUSE of these emotional and physical reactions to triggers and HEAL them. I align the client with a variety of internal resources as we reframe the casual event and achieve new, healthy perspectives that may influence many aspects of our present awareness. I study with Greg McHugh, CHt., an internationally renowned regression therapist and instructor.

  • Core transformation
    • Developed by Connirae Andreas, this technique allows you find that what you perceive as limitations in your life. These limitations are then used as doorways toward resolution. Imagine your most difficult problems actually having a positive aspect, something through which to learn, grow, and transform. Core Transformation gently guides you in discovering those positive intentions, leading to an experience of understanding, where awareness and change occur naturally.

  • Chakra clearing
    • Chakras are proven energy centers in our bodies. Using information Eastern cultures have understood for thousands of years, we are able to clear blockages from these areas in our body and return our natural energetic flow that restores physical and emotional balance creating a harmonious feeling within.

  • Quantum physics theory
    • Quantum physics is a branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta as described by the Quantum Theory. As taught by the likes of Dr. David Hawkins, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Larry Dossey and Ramamurti Shankar, we are able to use universal principles of physics to guide our thoughts, feelings and actions. This theory provides new information into the validity of the mind-body-spiritual connection and how we may use this connection to achieve improved health and well being.
